Hailey has always loved stories - a love which translated into a degree in Journalism and a passion for design - not to mention an impressive ability to talk about herself in the third person.
Always looking for new ways to tell stories Hailey specialised in Communication Design at Rhodes, learning how to combine words, images and design to tell the whole story.
A love of technology, natural curiosity and an inherent geekiness led Hailey to translate her print design skills to a new, exciting medium - the internet.
After university Hailey travelled to Scotland and Canada. She settled briefly in the isolated and beautiful Shetland Isles off the Northern coast of Scotland. Amongst the otters, ponies and fabulous community spirit Hailey worked on the local magazine and built up her web design skills.
Having gained some international experience Hailey returned to Ruby Lamp Lane in the sunny, entrepreneurial country she calls home. The street that provided the inspiration for her dynamic design business lent itself perfectly to a business name.
The thing Hailey enjoys most about running her own design business is not (surprisingly) working in her pyjamas but rather the thrill of telling each of her customers' stories through a practically limitless medium.
Honest, reliable and creative (and extremely fond of chocolate) Hailey makes sure her best qualities translate into her business practices. A friendly and successful relationship with her clients ensures that every aspect of the final product makes both client and designer happy.
